Focus on neurology healthcare facilities

The Tamil Nadu and Puducherry Association of Neurologists will liaise with the State Government to ensure that epileptic and stroke patients are given medication and drugs in all government hospitals in Tamil Nadu for one to months without interruption, it's newly elected president M. A. Aleem said.
The Association would advocate a plan of action for strengthening neurology healthcare facilities in the State, said Dr. Aleem who was elected to the post for the year 2017-18 at the conference of the Association held in the city recently.
The association will seek starting a DM Neurology course with two to four seats in the super speciality course at the K.A.P.Viswanatham Government Medical College, Tiruchi, Dr. Aleem, who is also former Vice-Principal of the College, said.
