Swine flu vaccines administered

TIRUCHI: Swine Flu vaccines were administered to a total number of 134 persons at a subsidised rate in the Annal Gandhi Memorial Government Headquarters Hospital here on Saturday.
The vaccine was administered through nasal spray to 73 persons and through intra muscular injection to 61 persons. The Transport Minister K.N. Nehru inaugurated the programme in the presence of Collector Mahesan Kasirajan, Hospital Dean A. Karthikeyan, Deputy Director of Public Health Mohan Raj, Medical Superintendent (in charge) S. Paneerselvam and Vice Principal, K.A.P. V Government Medical College, M.A. Aleem. Hospital authorities said the vaccine was administered at subsidised rate to the public .It would be administered every day from 9 a.m. to noon at room number 35 in the hospital.
